Top 7 Mutual Fund Companies in the Philippines

I am glad that financial literacy has been widely provided to Filipinos nowadays - as compared decades ago, when financial information are only restricted to companies.

Today, let me talk about mutual funds (MF), which is another form of paper asset investing.  The most common MF products are the equity funds and balanced funds.

MF Equity Funds are invested heavily on the stock market.   On the other hand, MF Balanced Funds are a mixed of equity funds and bond instruments.  The good thing about this? We can "hire" an investment manager to do the investment for us! Through MF investments, we are relieved from the aches of stock charting and equity analysis.

And initial investment is low for just Php5,000! Kayang-kaya, dbah? :o)

As at October 3, 2012, here is the list of the top 7 mutual fund investment products of equity funds and balanced fund in the Philippines:

Past performance does not provide assurance of future results. We should still conduct our own due diligence and be in-charge of our personal finances.

In my next post, I will give an update of where I am in my mutual fund investment. I hope this would encourage my dear readers to start investing, too. =)

Keep learning and keep on moving forward!

Cheers,
