Day 4: Something you are OCD about

To be honest, this one is tough. Shifty

Let us defined first what OCD means.

OCD, which is known as obsessive-compulsive disorder, is an anxiety disorder (oh no!) in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings, ideas, obsessions, or behaviors that make them feel driven to do something (compulsions). Source: Wikipedia

Waaaaaaaaaah..!

What should I write? Think, think, think.

I cannot think. (hahaha!)

Be right back  Ninja

I remember that we, Pinoys, would term someone who has OCD as “Uk-Uk”, or “Npaka-OC mo nman.”

Uhmm, errr… what are my anxiety disorders?

.

.

Girl Well, here are the list I came up with:

  • I want my things/stuffs to be where they are when I left them.  Even when they are scattered all over the place, never ever ever move a single thing(!).  Because I still know where to find the missing piece. Heh. :P
  • When I do my reports through MS Word, I activate the ‘show formatting tool’.  I ensure that there are two spaces in between every sentence.  (As I was writing this list, I checked if it also applies to what I wrote in my blog. And err.., I was right. OC tlaga.) =D
  • When my reports/analysis are done through MS Excel, I usually uses the font “Calibri”, because it is friendly to the eyes.  I also uses the “Hide” tool for those sheets that I do not use, in order for my manager/director to easily review the Sheets and would no longer bother dragging the mouse to other cells.
  • When I sleep, there should be a pillow where I can elevate my feet and another pillow that I can hug. I prefer to have the lights turn off, as well, because I really am sensitive with lights.
  • In my emails, I keep a calendar for dates/appointments or stuffs I need to do.  At least, the time automatically pops out of my screen when it is due time for my ‘meeting/appointment.’ (I usually get lost of time whenever I am in front of a computer.)  And when I’m not online, I write it on piece of paper (I easily forgot!).  Good thing my brother gave me a calendar diary for 2012 during Christmas. It details the time, which makes it easier for me to write down my to-do list. :)

Tatah… :)

That’s for now.   Left hug  Right hug

Let me know what you are OCD about. Open-mouthed smile  I want to know about it.

Keep learning and keep going forward!

Cheers,

Lyn-Lyn \(“,)/
